Miami-Dade Delays Re-Precincting Until 2015

Lines up to seven hours made Miami-Dade County the butt of many jokes on Election Day 2012. Part of the cause of the delay came from an uneven distribution of voters in precincts, but the county isn’t planning on fixing the problem anytime soon.

Does Your Vote Count? Dade Co. Changes Precinct Reconciliation Procedures

Voting rights advocates are fuming about a change to what they say is an election night “best practices procedure.” The issue is only in Miami-Dade as far as CBS4 Investigates can tell.
