Gusty Winds, High Tides Cause Coastal Concerns Red flags were flying up and down South Florida’s beaches on Tuesday as gusty wind created a high risk for rip currents. CBS4 meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez said we can expect winds in the 18-25 mph range over the next day or so with gusts in the 30s. This creates dangerous in the water conditions for both swimmers and boaters.
