Homeless Man Stabbed On U.S. 1 Speaks About Attack
A homeless man who was stabbed in the neck at a busy Pinecrest intersection is out of the hospital. Police say the stabbing was a random crime and the attacker is still out there.

A homeless man was hospitalized after he was stabbed near The Falls. Pinecrest police said David Mercado, 49, was standing near SW 136th Street and US 1 asking for change when a man in black Ford 150 called him over.
