Hall Of Fame Vote
Last year, the website Deadspin announced it had obtained a vote for the baseball Hall of Fame from a voter. The voter voluntarily gave the ballot to Deadspin to fill out. It turns out; the voter was CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald columnist Dan LeBatard.
The Baseball Hall of Fame revealed the 2013 inductees Wednesday afternoon and while no one was a unanimous selection, three former Major League stars were selected for Cooperstown.
For only the eighth time in the history of the Baseball Hall of Fame, baseball writers failed to elect anyone into the Hall of Fame. The selection process was made more difficult this year as players from the steroid-era were on the ballot for the first time.
