Keys’ Seven Mile Bridge To Close Temporarily On Saturday

The Seven Mile Bridge, longest of 42 spans on the Florida Keys’ Overseas Highway, is to close temporarily to vehicular traffic during the early morning hours Saturday, April 13, for the 32nd annual footrace over the convergence of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico.

Weather Forces Halt Of 7-Mile Bridge Run

For the first time in the history of the 7-Mile Bridge Run marathon, runners at the starting line were told it was too dangerous for them on the bridge, and the race was canceled. It’s not known if, or when, it will be rescheduled.
