You will see firefighters on the streets of Miami-Dade County this weekend asking you to help “Fill the Boot”.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue firefighters are asking drivers this week to ‘fill their boots’ for a good cause. In keeping with an annual tradition and partnership that started in 1954, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue and the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 4321 will hit the streets at 3 p.m. Tuesday for the popular Muscular Dystrophy Association’s annual fundraiser in front of the BSO Public Safety Building.
It’s that time of year again when firefighters hit the streets, with boots in hand, all in the name of raising money for the neuromuscular disease, Muscular Dystrophy.
With the Labor Day holiday just around the corner, Miami-Dade firefighters kicked off their annual Muscular Dystrophy Association’s “Fill The Boot” campaign on Monday.
