Don Shula Expressway
Drivers who use the Don Shula Expressway need to be aware of a ramp closure this week. The southbound State Road 874 exit ramp to Kendall Drive will be closed every night from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. every evening until Saturday.
It’s déjà vu on the Don Shula Expressway and major ramp closures in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Construction crews are heading back to the Dolphin Expressway this week. The eastbound exit ramp to NW 17th Avenue will be closed tonight at 9 p.m. and not re-open until 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Expect cones and crews on the Don Shula Expressway yet again this week. And Broward drivers, you’ll see express lanes on one of your highways soon.
Catching a flight out of Miami International Airport this week? If it’s a night time flight or one early, early in the morning you need to be aware that the westbound and eastbound exit and entrance ramps for the airport at Le Jeune Road will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each day until Friday.
There’s more traffic trouble for commuters who take the Dolphin Expressway this week.
It’s another week of closures on the Don Shula Expressway. All northbound and southbound lanes will be closed from Kendall Drive to the Palmetto Expressway every night from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. until Saturday morning.
Watch out on the Dolphin Expressway Tuesday night. The State Road 836 westbound ramp to State Road 826/Palmetto Expressway southbound will be closed from 11 p.m. though 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.
We’re not sure if Don Shula would approve of his expressway shutting down this week, but it’s all in an effort to improve the roadway.
This week State Road 836 is in the mix. The Dolphin Expressway westbound ramp to the Palmetto Expressway northbound will be closed Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.
