Other Baseball Hall Of Fame Voters Have Pulled Similar Stunts As LeBatard

Sports writer and ESPN host Dan LeBatard was stripped of his baseball Hall of Fame vote after he allowed fans of the website Deadspin to fill out the ballot. LeBatard’s move was to point out the hypocrisy of organization, which may have worked on multiple levels.

Last year, the website Deadspin announced it had obtained a vote for the baseball Hall of Fame from a voter. The voter voluntarily gave the ballot to Deadspin to fill out. It turns out; the voter was CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald columnist Dan LeBatard.
