Marlins Win First Game Of New Season

Better late than never, Marlins bats exploded Saturday to give the team it’s first win of the 2012 season. Giancarlo Stanton led Miami out of its early slump, getting three hits and driving in three runs, and the Marlins beat the Cincinnati Reds 8-3.

Marlins Shut Out By Reds, 4-0

Jay Bruce homered and drove in a pair of runs, and Johnny Cueto dominated in his first opening-day start, leading the Cincinnati Reds to a 4-0 victory over the Miami Marlins on Thursday before one of their biggest crowds.
