The Florida Panthers may be struggling on the ice, but when it comes to bringing fans to the BB&T Center, the Cats organization thinks out of the box becoming one of the first teams to incorporate a new “You Can Play” program that was introduced by the NHL.

Markstrom Leads Panthers To 3-1 Victory

When the final buzzer sounded at Madison Square Garden, the Swedish goalie celebrated the big win with his teammates. No, it wasn’t Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers this time. Jacob Markstrom made 44 saves, and he and the cellar-dwelling Florida Panthers stole the spotlight from Lundqvist and the Rangers with a 3-1 win Thursday night.

Panthers Hold Off Penguins, 6-4

The Florida Panthers broke out of their power-play slump in a big way. Tomas Kopecky recorded his first career hat trick and Tomas Fleischmann had the go-ahead score for his 100th career goal, lifting the Panthers to a 6-4 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.
