Bales Of Pot
A major, high-seas marijuana seizure was offloaded Friday morning by the Coast Guard in Miami Beach.
The U.S. Coast Guard, working with a Royal Netherlands Navy vessel in May, seized approximately $3 million in marijuana during a drug patrol in the Caribbean Sea. Friday, those drugs arrived in South Florida.
It must be square grouper season in the Atlantic Ocean. Officials with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, along with other law enforcement agencies, have been searching for bales of marijuana that have been floating in the Atlantic.
Like something out of the movie, “Dude, Where’s My Car,”, the owner of a van found in a Broward parking lot is probably saying, “Dude, Where’s My Pot?” The answer is in BSO custody after deputies found 38 bales of marijuana in a van parked in a Home Depot parking lot at 1951 S. State Road 7 in West Park.
