In November 2012, the first TVs with 4K resolution went on sale in the United States. The very first was the LG 84EM9600, but hot on its heels came this Sony XBR-84X900. As of early 2013, they’re still the only 4K TVs you can buy. If you have the money. And you probably don’t. The list price is $20,000 for the LG and $25,000 for the Sony.
