The NFL Today on CBS will have a new look this fall when the league kicks off again. CBS has hired future Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez as an analyst for The NFL Today.
Former Miami Dolphins offensive guard Richie Incognito’s self-imposed banishment from Twitter lasted only a few days before he started back on the social networking site with a vengeance Monday night.
While Miami Dolphins players and at least one coach were highly criticized in the Ted Wells report on the harassment by teammates, one person who escaped much blame from Wells was head coach Joe Philbin. But that doesn’t mean Philbin has escaped the tarnish of the scandal.
While guard Richie Incognito is no longer a headache for the Miami Dolphins or its fans, the National Football League still has yet to weigh in on how it will discipline Incognito for his actions while a member of the Dolphins.
University of Missouri defensive end Michael Sam will be the most debated NFL prospect until his name is called during the 2014 NFL Draft. The National Football League’s independent investigation of the Miami Dolphins, Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin was released Friday with a finding that three starters on the offensive line “engaged in a pattern of harassment directed at not only Martin, but also another young Dolphins offensive lineman.”
Just before Jonathan Martin left the Miami Dolphins, the team acquired left tackle Bryant McKinnie in a trade. McKinnie was in the locker room for a short time with both Martin and Incognito and shared his thoughts on the Wells report, the locker room culture and the Dolphins to CBSMiami.
