One of the best things to come out of Hurricane Andrew’s aftermath was CBS4’s non-profit partner, Neighbors 4 Neighbors.
Many students spend their summer break on the beach or at the movies, but as Neighbors 4 Neighbors discovered, there’s a group of teens that used their time off to give back to some South Florida charities.
A local non-profit stepped in to the national spotlight when top notch designers from Lifetime TV’s “Designing Spaces” moved in for a makeover. The agency, Kids In Distress, is well known as a haven for families in Broward County going through tough times.
The City Commission of Miami-Dade County presented Neighbors 4 Neighbors with a special proclamation in honor of their upcoming 20th anniversary.
It may be hard to believe, but August will mark 20 years of Neighbors 4 Neighbors working to help those in need. N4N has decided to celebrate that milestone with what’s it’s calling a “Rocking Breakfast.”

Many of us use spring cleaning as an opportunity to collect and donate items from our closets. Now, a group of local dry cleaners is making it even easier for their customers to put those donations towards a great cause.
Sixty two local non-profit organizations got a big boost from The Miami Foundation’s Community Grants initiative. The Foundation awarded one million dollars in funds and Neighbors 4 Neighbors was one of the lucky recipients.
