Madison On Xavien Howard: "The Kid Stepped Up Tremendously"

Interviews-wqam

Former Miami Dolphins defensive back, Sam Madison joined the Big O Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the Miami Dolphins win over the New York Jets.

On the Dolphins performance- "They're believing, they're buying into the system. There is no one man, no me, me, me"

On Jarvis Landry- "Did he not look fast to you in a cold December game?"

On the Dolphins Defense- "For Xavien Howard to be able to come in and step in, the kid stepped up tremendously. The plays he made, yes he was beat, but he did not panic."

"Great plays by these young defensive backs."

"If [Byron Maxwell] is healthy enough, let him come back in."

On Dolphins GM Chris Grier- "Chris Grier understands you have to develop these guys."

On Adam Gase- "He had enough time to be around Matt Moore and understand the things he can and can't do. He put [Matt Moore] in a situation to be able to win."

"[Coach Gase] was able to make the adjustment. You don't make adjustments at half time. You make adjustments during the game. Coach Gase was able to get these guys in the right position to make the right plays."
