DANIA BEACH (CBSMiami) – A 16-year-old Broward teen got more than he bargained for while trying to sell his cellphone to a stranger.

Instead of a simple transaction, Aharon Cohen was robbed at gunpoint.

According to BSO, Cohen used a popular mobile app to set up the sale of an iPhone. A potential buyer agreed to meet him on December 14th in the parking lot of a friend's warehouse, located at 2599 Griffin Road in Dania Beach.

When the supposed buyer arrived, the two discussed the sale for several minutes until the man pulled out a gun.

The gunman forced Cohen into the warehouse as a second masked robber appeared. The two thieves rifled through the warehouse for about 15 minutes, while holding Cohen at gunpoint.

Once they had taken more than 40 electronic items from the warehouse, the gunman demanded Cohen's personal cell phone, his wallet and his clothes.

"It's heartbreaking, yeah, a lot of nerves," said Debbie Markus, who runs the business.

Her teenage employee hasn't been back to work since.

"It was a very traumatizing experience for him," she said.

In total, the crooks took thousands of dollars worth in phones, tablets and cameras. Markus thinks they planned the heist in advance.

They got away in a white older model four-door sedan, possibly a Dodge Stratus. The car was missing its hubcaps and the front bumper was hanging loose.
