MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins Cancer Challenge is hosting a pair of Halloween-themed family fests this weekend.

Fort Lauderdale's Holiday Park and the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables will be where families can bring their children on Saturday for several holiday events, including a bike ride.

Children ages 3 to 16 are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes.

They can participate in a safe, car-free ride with their families. The ride will have options that include short loops or lengths up to 3-5 miles.

The event will also include activities for the entire family, including a kids zone with bounce houses, animal exhibit, face painting, food trucks, an adult beer garden, Dolphins Youth Program activities and other entertainment.

Registration at both events begin at 10 a.m. with the ride starting at 11 a.m.  There is a $15 registration fee for those wanting to participate in the ride.

The events will last from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This will precede DCCVII, the seventh Dolphins Cancer Challenge which takes place in February.
