Port Everglades Worker Run Over By Truck

PORT EVERGLADES (CBSMiami/AP) — A worker was killed in an accident at Port Everglades.

Luisa Anderson, 40, died Monday afternoon after a golf cart she was driving collided with a truck carrying a cargo container at an intersection.

Anderson was ejected from the golf cart and run over by the truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives say the intersection where the crash happened doesn't have stop signs or traffic signals.
