Miami Hurricanes Unveil "Legend Of The U" Football Uniforms

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) – The Miami Hurricanes are beginning a new era for the football program under firs year head coach Mark Richt.
So far things have been very successful for Miami as the team has won its first three games under Richt by a combined score of 153-23.
On Monday the Hurricanes and clothing brand Adidas unveiled a new uniform that the team will begin wearing this season called 'Legend of the U'.

The uniforms will feature a throwback look of past Canes jerseys while still having a modern feel.
"Merging innovation and style to produce the perfect blend of modern technology with a historic, national championship-yielding look, the retro style uniforms were designed as a nod the legacy and domination of the teams from the 80's and 90's which saw the Hurricanes win four national championships," the school said in a statement.
The Hurricanes will debut the new uniforms on October 8th when Miami hosts their biggest rival, the Florida State Seminoles, at the newly renovated Hard Rock Stadium.
