MSC Seaside: The Hottest New Ship To Cruise In 2017

MSC Cruises has the perfect new experience to offer in the New Year. In December 2017, the ultramodern MSC Seaside will make its maiden voyage to the Caribbean as the company's first ship to be christened in the United States. The ship will dock in Port Miami and sail year-round to the enchanting islands and destinations that make the Caribbean irresistible.

Design

MSC Seaside will feature a condo-style design to accommodate more than 4,100 guests, double occupancy. Known as "the ship that follows the sun," MSC Seaside will offer sun-seeking travelers one of the highest ratios of outdoor space available in the cruise industry. If that weren't enough, the cruise ship will also make guests feel more at one with the sea by featuring a sea-level, 360 degree promenade that offers special eating and shopping venues with incredible views of the sea like never before. High-tech in design, MSC Seaside allows guests to "see it all" at sea by featuring a two-deck atrium incased in picture glass windows. If guests ever wanted the feel of walking on water, MSC Seaside will deliver it. Three glass catwalks that extend beyond the edge of the ship feature glass railings and glass floors to allow guests the sensation of walking over the beautiful, enchanting sea.

Convenience

Named "2017's Hottest New Cruise Ship" by Cruise Fever, a website dedicated to educating cruise enthusiasts about the industry, MSC Seaside will do more than mesmerize its guests with its ship design. It will wow them with all of its modern conveniences. Staterooms will feature new modular concepts and connections so that parties of up to 10 people—like families—can share accommodations. More than 70 percent of the staterooms will feature balconies, and part of the balcony will be uncovered to give guests the option of sun or shade while enjoying the outdoors in privacy—an industry first. Among many other incredible conveniences, MSC Seaside is a smart ship. The company calls it "advanced guest-friendly technology" where guests will be able to use a cruise card, bracelet or smartphone to execute simple conveniences like locating their children; making onboard payments or utilizing interactive screens to book incredible onboard entertainment, excursions or restaurant reservations.

MSC Seaside will also feature the convenience and luxury of the MSC Yacht Club, the Club Level option for guests who want to add more elegance, privacy and exclusivity to their cruise experience. Members of the MSC Yacht Club will enjoy suites specifically designed for their sailing pleasure—more than 600 square feet of extravagance, complete with a spacious balcony. Among many superb private amenities, MSC Yacht Club members will enjoy the incomparable service of a 24-hour butler and concierge service while aboard MSC Seaside.

Entertainment

Entertainment options available to MSC Seaside guests are next-level incredible. Two decks feature five water slides and an adventure deck. This water park is the most interactive at sea, so it includes slide board technology that combines an interactive video game to absolutely thrill guests. When guests are not splashing around, they can take to the air to enjoy the longest zip line to hit the seven seas. Movie-goers will love options like attending an interactive 5D cinema, where special effects and moving seats allow guests full engagement. Before you can even consider being bored, there's the option of a full-sized bowling alley…right there at sea.

With so many features that attract children, it's only fitting that MSC Cruises extends its Kids Sail Free program to families, where children age 11 and younger cruise for free.

Aboard MSC Seaside, guests will be able to visit enchanting places like Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC Cruises' own private island, which features 95 acres of paradise, and is the biggest island development created by a cruise company.
