MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- One of the Miami Marlins' bright young stars will be spending a little more time on the disabled list after suffering a setback during his rehab.
Adam Conley (finger) has been shut down and is expected to be out for longer than the minimum 15 days after visiting doctors, MLB.com reported.
The team initially believed Conley's stint on the DL would be short but now say swelling and inflammation in his hand has prevented him from throwing.
The 26-year-old lefty is 8-6 with a 3.94 ERA in 24 starts for the Marlins this season.
