SCOUTING: When the 2015 season came to an end, and recruiters and college coaches started to compile the list of prospects who have a chance to make a solid impact this coming year, this was one of the first names that many talked about. Coveted by several quality football programs coming out of his junior year, the interest only grew as Davis headed toward spring as schools from all over were watching this talented young man. Miami, Florida, Alabama and just about every other top program loved the way this young man played the game. He's a physical cover guy who also punished you with his aggressive tackling on running plays. The coaching staff continued to push him to college coaches who were looking for that combination of skill and a punishing style of play. This is a big-time talent who will only get better and better as he continues to learn. Davis has already shown why he is a special player. This year should be very interesting as the Spartans are loaded.
