MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Donald Trump spoke to the National Association of Home Builders while in Miami Beach on Thursday - not missing an opportunity to attack his opponent.

"Our government has unleashed ISIS....ISIS will hand her the most valued player award," said Trump about his democratic opponent Hillary Clinton.

Trump took to critiquing Clinton's ads - comparing how much each side has spent.

"Clinton is getting a little bit nervous. Crooked Hillary, she's getting a little bit concerned," said Trump. "She's spending hundreds of millions of dollars on ads...and I haven't spent anything."

Clinton responded following his speech.

As for the home builders, Trump said home building was something close to his heart.

"Home building is very close to my heart. That's where I grew up," said Trump. "My father built houses and he did it beautifully."

Trump went on to show appreciation for the community.

"If you can build a home, you can build anything," said Trump.  "You're great people and you employ millions of people."

He said he plans to help the home building  industry.

"What's happening with regulations, horrible," said Trump promising to cut regulations."We're having a massive cut in taxes.  We're having a massive cut in regulations and that includes banking regulations because it's impossible for your people to go get mortgages......Homeownership is at its lowest rate in 51 years."

The GOP nominee focused heavily on jobs.

"The good jobs we don't have anymore," said Trump.

Trump took on foreign relations - saying China nor Russia has respect for the Obama administration but he could change it.

He went on to talk about foreign relations -- saying China has no respect for the Obama administration -- and neither does Russia, but he could change that.

"They don't like our president, Putin doesn't like our president. Putin has no respect for Obama whatsoever. Wouldn't it be nice if we could actually get along with Russia?Wouldn't that be a decent thing?  Wouldn't that be nice," said Trump.

As for his economic plan, he says "Our goal is to keep jobs and wealth in America. We're not  going to let them go to all these countries that think we're the stupid people....We're not stupid, we have stupid leaders."

Trump also reminded the audience that whoever wins this race, wins more than sport in the White House. They have the power to reshape the Supreme Court.

"The last thing you want is four more years of Obama. The last think you want are judges put on the United States Supreme Court that are going to destroy our nation," said Trump.

Hillary Clinton was reportedly also invited to speak at the home builders convention but was unable to make it.

Trump's speech to home builders comes a day after he said President Barack Obama "founded ISIS" and called Hillary Clinton the "co-founder of ISIS" during a rally in Sunrise. The audience responded on numerous occasions with the chants of "lock her up." Trump has also faced controversy this week after comments at a North Carolina rally in which he called on gun owners to assassinate Clinton. Trump said that was not his intention.

The GOP nominee will continue his tour through Florida on Thursday. He is scheduled to appear at an Orlando event with his former opponent Florida Senator Marco Rubio. They'll be speaking at the Florida Renewal Project. The appearance has caused an uproar among gay rights groups who say that the Florida Renewal Project is very anti-gay. That event will take place near the Pulse nightclub where 49 people were killed back on June 12th.
