Stolen Car Torched In Plantation

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami/AP) - Plantation police are trying to figure out who torched a stolen car with a Molotov cocktail.

The burning car was discovered shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday when firefighters went to an apartment complex in the area. A witness told police they saw someone shatter the window and toss the explosive into the car.

No one was injured.

Police haven't found the person who set the car on fire, or the person who stole the car. The car, a silver 2000 Mazda 626, had been reported stolen on June 14 from Fort Lauderdale.
