NORTH LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Deputies are searching for a brazen duo who sped off in a stolen car at a North Lauderdale gas station.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the two women as they walked into the gas station located at 7100 Kimberly Blvd on May 27th around 11 a.m.

Broward Sheriff's deputies said one of the women paid for an item while the other stood near the door. As they left, La Shawna German walked in and went straight to the back of the store but not for long.

German was alarmed when she heard the sound of her car door slamming shut. That's when she ran to the front of the store to find the two women had taken off in her 2005 Nissan Altima, deputies said.

The 29-year old said they got away with her cell phone and wallet.

Deputies are asking anyone who recognizes the women or has any information in the case to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
