SCOUTING: Having watched this young man the past two years at Hialeah American, there was never any doubt about the impact he would make when given a chance to be that main runner. His vision, quickness and ability to dart through holes has made him a go-to guy, and this spring he showed everyone. Where he will really help the Mustangs this coming season in a quest for a district title, will be as that runner who will add balance to the much-improved offensive attack. His ability to block, and catch the ball out of the backfield, will truly be an asset. The thing that his coaches have always liked about him is his knack for breaking initial tackles, and when colleges watched him this spring, that was the one thing that they came away with. Keep an eye on this tremendous football player during the summer. You will not be disappointed - Cooper has that much potential.
