Woman Accused Of Stomping On Child Over Laundry

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A Florida Keys woman is accused of stomping and hitting a child over dirty laundry.

Deputies say 27-year old Marina Vega hit and stomped on an 8-year old boy because he put dirty laundry in a dryer in Big Coppit Key.

The April 21st incident prompted an investigation after the boy told detectives Vega hit his face and stomped on his stomach over the incident.

Following the investigation, a warrant was issued for her arrest Wednesday on charges of child cruelty.

It is unclear how and if she is related to the child.
