Rebecca Rauch-Thane's scientific research on using coconut water to detect water contamination led to a full scholarship at FIU.

Rebecca happened to be just 14 years old and a high school freshman at the time.

Now at 15, Rebecca's passion for knowledge and saving the environment has her working on a mangrove restoration project that already has people taking notice.
