MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- A woman who police say threatened to kill and blow up law enforcement officers, is behind bars.

Johanna Garcia, 39,  from Hallandale Beach, faced a judge Monday in bond court saying it had to do with a federal court suit she filed nearly a decade ago.

In the lawsuit, she claims she was sexually assaulted by unnamed Miami Beach Police officers.  The suit went nowhere.  Garcia says when she took her complaints to the department's internal affairs division, she wasn't taken seriously.

In court Monday, she said she was raped by "twenty" police officers.  She admitted having previously been treated for anxiety and depression.  The public defender suggested he will attempt to get her out of jail and into a secure mental health facility.

According to her arrest report, on April 28th, Garcia made repeated telephone calls and left multiple voicemail messages on the Miami Beach Police Internal Affairs telephone number.

In the voicemail messages, police said, she stated "I'm going to kill you all. I'm gonna blow you up [expletive]."

The report states, she also went on to say, "I'm gonna go after all you, Jorge Garcia."

Sergeant Jorge Garcia is a supervisor in the Miami Beach Police Internal Affairs Unit, according to police.

Garcia also allegedly sent an email to the Miami Beach Records Manager John Babcock. In the email, the report states, Garcia wrote, "Answer me or watch me blow u up, so u never forget my name."

Garcia is charged with threatening to throw a destructive device, written threats to kill or do bodily injury, threatening or harassing phone calls, among other charges.
