MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Queen Bey hit center stage at Marlins Park Wednesday night to a home run.

Beyoncé was in town for the opening of her new Formation World Tour and a new album to thrilled Miami fans.

Before the show started, formation and fashion went hand in hand. Thousands of fans known as the Beyhive came dressed to impress to see their number one superstar.

"Honestly, I think this is most intimate she has ever come out with her fans," said one fan. "This album is crazy. It just came out and I think it's going to be huge considering we are the first concert of this tour. I'm just way too excited for this."

Beyoncé released "Lemonade" on Saturday night. It's a visual album that dropped a media bombshell, which left fans wondering if her husband of 8 years, Jay Z, had an affair.

Most of the fans CBS4's Lisa Petrillo spoke with understood this album is where artistry meets business.

"She's just talented. She's trained, she's well trained. She's driven and she's a hell of a marketer," a fan said.

Another fan said, "I don't think that Beyoncé is being cheated on by Jay Z, I think she just did it for us think that."

But not all agreed.

"I'm very upset with Jay Z. If I was to see him right now, I gonna be like, 'Oh my God.' I would sting him with Beyhive eyes," a fan said.

But no stinging here, just honey for a superstar who completely connects with fans.
