FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami/AP) — A South Florida man who reportedly used flashing lights and sirens to rush through traffic is accused of impersonating a police officer.
Jeffrey Jean, 30, was arrested Sunday.
After pulling Jean over, Broward Sheriff's deputies say they found tactical law enforcement gear including a gun belt with a loaded handgun, a stun gun and pepper spray.
Deputies say Jean was also wearing a vest that said "public safety officer" on it.
Jean faces multiple charges including impersonating a police officer, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, reckless driving and prohibited use of lights and sirens.
