Focus On South Florida: Walk a Mile With a Child

Right here in South Florida, there's a growing problem among our children, specifically in the African-American community.

We are talking about obesity. Which brings us to next Saturday's "Walk a Mile With a Child" in historic Overtown.

We focus on the event, which encourages organizations and adults to serve as community mentors to walk with the kids, inspire them, and raise awareness of their specific health needs.
