The consequences of driving drunk can last a lifetime for the victims and their families.

That's why one Broward mother works year-round, to campaign across the country on the dangers of drinking and driving.

Right now, she is focusing on South Florida, to round up thousands of people to join her for the upcoming annual MADD Dash 5K.

We focus on all that MADD does to save lives, the impact that Uber is having on keeping drunk drivers out of their cars, and how people can get involved with the upcoming MADD fundraiser.
