MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A young child was found in a carry on carry on bag during an Air France flight from Istanbul to Paris.

A passenger noticed the cloth bag moving beneath a woman's during the flight Monday night and alerted a flight attendant, according to a French media outlet.

"At one point, she wanted to open it and it's neighbor on the other row seats saw that something was moving inside. He therefore alerted the hostess who then discovered a baby," said "Vincent" who was a passenger on the flight.

The woman who owned the bag didn't have a ticket for the child who appeared to be one or two years old.

Despite being inside a piece of luggage for several hours, the child was unharmed.

Air France alerted the authorities who met the plane when it landed at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. No word on if the woman was charged.
