Twitter Back Up After Overnight Outage

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Alright, fess up. Who broke Twitter?

The immensely popular social media site is slowly coming back after being down around the world overnight. Sporadic outages knocked the social media site offline in Europe and parts of the U.S.

Users who tried to log on to it early Tuesday morning were greeted with a screen that said "Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing - we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon."

Around 4 a.m. Twitter, which has around 320 million users, tweeted out that it was aware of the problem and they were trying to fix it. This drew an interesting response from some Twitter users.
