MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Searchers with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue saw four men are "lucky to be alive" after their boat capsized on Saturday.

The four men were fishing in the waters off Haulover Beach when their boat started taking on water.

Their cell phones and radios fell into the water leaving them not way to call for help.

Two of the men swam for two hours back to shore while the other two clung to the boat.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and the Coast Guard searched for a couple of hours and found the two missing men alive in the water.

"They were in the water for a long time," said Lieutenant Andy Machado with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. "They're all stable medically, exhausted from the ordeal. They are very lucky, yes very lucky.

One of the men who swam to shore told CBS4 that he recently came from Cuba by raft.
