DEERFIELD BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Most Americans just might choose a trip to the dentist over one to the DMV.

On Friday, video captured one woman's frustration with DMV staff after she was asked to leave.

That frustration quickly turned into defiance once law enforcement showed up to escort her out. But even the officer was caught off guard as to what happened next.

The confrontation escalates after the cop tells the woman to listen to him. She quickly snaps back, "No, listen to me!"

At that point, the officer tries to move the woman away from the counter. Instead she turns and kicks him in the groin. He quickly takes her down, but she continues to resist, throwing several kicks.

The scuffle continues as the officer struggles to subdue the woman, at one point falling on top of her with an elbow drop to keep her down. She still resists and even mocks him by saying, "He can't even fight!"

Eventually the officer is able to bring the woman to her feet and tries to haul her to another room where he can be heard asking her, "What is wrong with you?"

Still not giving up, the woman continues to resist and fights her way back to the main area where she yells, "These are the people who protect you! These are the people, even though I kicked his a**! I'm outta here, goodbye!"

Finally, he is able to handcuff her, though she tries to plead with him not to take her to jail.

The woman was later identified as 31-year-old Eleanore Stern. She was arrested and charged with resisting an officer.
