MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Another historic change in U.S. and Cuba relations.
On Friday, the U.S. Department of State announced that the two countries have reached an understanding to re-establish direct postal service.
The talks to resume service were held in Miami.
The plan will provide for mail flights between the two countries several times a week, rather than routing mail through a third country.
Details will be finalized in the coming weeks.
