Crash Into Fire Hydrant Causes Wet Mess In Oakland Park

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - There was a wet mess in Oakland Park Friday morning after a driver slammed into a fire hydrant.
It happened on Commercial Boulevard near 6th Avenue, just east of I-95.
There's no word on what caused the driver to hit the hydrant, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
All but one westbound lane of Commercial Boulevard were closed to traffic until the gushing water could be stopped and roadway cleaned up.
