MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The 'Fire Al Golden' banners that have been seen flying high in the air prior to each of the Miami Hurricanes three games this season have become quite well known.

While the Hurricanes are 3-0 there is still a lot of criticism surrounding the coaching staff, especially Golden.

There is another side to that pillow though.

At the same time that Canes fans are calling for the dismissal of Golden and his coaching staff, fans of the Hurricanes' main intrastate rival want Miami's coaching staff to remain intact.

Florida State Seminoles fan Joseph Johnson thinks quite highly of the job Golden has done as the Hurricanes head coach and wants to see him keep his job for as long as possible.

Johnson has started a GoFundMe page with the intention of raising money for a "Keep Al Golden" banner to fly over Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee before the Hurricanes and Seminoles face off on October 10th.

The page features the following message to potential donors.

Al Golden has done a terrific job in keeping Miami irrelevant, Cane fans want him gone.  However in Tallahassee we love Coach Golden, that's why we want to show our love in 3 weeks when the canes come to Tallahassee, with a banner that will fly over the stadium...for an hour.

The page was created on Saturday, September 19th and in the three days it's been active, $205 has been raised by 18 donors with the highest donation coming in at $34.  The goal to reach is set at $500.
