LAUDERHILL (CBSMiami) -- Lauderhill Police have released videos of two people they consider to be of interest in connection to a shooting last month.

Cameras captured videos of two men who authorities want to speak to. Another video shows a white car speeding away after the shooting and attempted robbery.

Police say, on August 24th, around 9 p.m. a group of men were gathered in the parking lot of the Gardens of Lauderhill apartments  near 4161 NW 26 Street.

That's when two men attempted to rob the group at gunpoint. At some point, one of the would be robbers fired his gun, shooting a victim in the neck. He suffered from non-life threatening injuries.

The two men got away but authorities were able to get a description of them.  Police said they are looking for  a thin black male with a dredd hairstyle who was wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt and another heavy set black male with short hair cut who was wearing a dark colored shirt and shorts.

Authorities said the men caught on video were seen walking into the apartment complex before the shooting. Anyone who recognizes them is urged to call Broward Crimestoppers at (954) 493- TIPS.
