MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A man is facing a child abuse charge, accused of roughing up a 13-year old who allegedly asked his niece if she would trade a key chain for her virginity.

Authorities arrested Arturo Martinez, 30, on Sunday on a number of charges following an alleged dispute that happened on a cruise ship that was arriving in South Florida.

According to his arrest report, it all started on August 13th when the teen allegedly asked for the trade which was overheard by Martinez's brother who is also the father of the girl.

The report states the father made the teen apologize for his alleged comment.

The dispute allegedly continued during the weekend when on Sunday, the report says, the girl's father and Martinez confronted the boy in the ship's library.

During the confrontation, Martinez "pinned him against a wall"  to allegedly keep him from leaving for several minutes, the report states.

As the dispute escalated, Martinez allegedly forced the boy over to a couch and ordered him to pull his pants down, forcing his face into the couch numerous times, according to the report.

Shortly after, Martinez and his brother left. That's when the boy reported the alleged incident to cruise security.

According to the report, security video shows Martinez confronting the teen.

Martinez is also facing other charges including battery, simple assault, and false imprisonment.
