CBS Sports Projects 74 Teams to Bowl Games, Miami Hurricanes Not Included

Either it was an oversight or CBS Sports' Jerry Palm is rather low on the Miami Hurricanes' chances this season.

After seeing his early preseason bowl-game projection for 2015, Al Golden's squad was not among the 74 teams included.

Yes, seventy-four teams.

And the five-time National Champions -- though the faithful consider it six -- are on the outside looking in.

Despite knowing Vegas' early 5.5 line on Miami's wins this season and despite realizing a colossal chunk of their top talent was syphoned out to the NFL, it's still a shock to see what's become of the perception of this once prestigious program.

They may not finish in the Top 25 or contend an ACC crown, but not projecting them to a bowl game when seemingly everyone goes to one? Seems a bit extreme.
