Today, one-third of American children, 15 million, are being raised without a father. Nearly five million more live without a mother.

Life and the Single Parent magazine is the brainchild of its CEO and editor-in-chief. Katherine Hope.

Hope is a South Florida mother of 3 children. Her magazine is designed to help single parents, like herself, thrive in today's world.

Hope is also the founder of the "You Will Survive" Foundation, which provides seminars and workshops for single parents in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
