Lamar Miller: 'I'm Willing to Do Anything to Help This Team Win'

560-WQAM

Lamar Miller may be coming off a career season in 2014 when he rushed for 1,099 yards on a juicy 5.1 yards per carry but his mentality remains the same as his rookie season.

"I still have that same mindset as I had as a rookie," Miller said after practice Thursday. "I just come here every day and just try to get better, compete with the younger guys. I'm the veteran in the group now. I just try to push everybody, so when that guy gets that opportunity he'll take advantage of it."

Miller averaged just 13.5 carries last season. Is he hungry for more touches?

"Yeah, of course," he said. "I feel like I can carry the ball as much as the coaches want me to. Whatever the coach calls, I'm willing to do anything to help this team win."
