NFL Insider: Miami Dolphins a 'Super Bowl Sleeper'

560-WQAM

Waves of hype continue to pound South Florida shores in regards to your 2015 Miami Dolphins.

The franchise that hasn't experienced a winning season in six years is a 2015 "Super Bowl sleeper," according to ESPN's KC Joyner, adding to the Harvard study from a few weeks back that said the Dolphins will win the AFC.

Joyner has the Dolphins, along with the Vikings and Giants, as teams that could "come out of nowhere to win the Super Bowl."

Among the reasons mentioned are Tannahill's improved decision making, a "bolstered vertical passing game," and an underrated running game.

"Add these elements to a highly favorable pass defense schedule (ninth-easiest in the league according to my analysis)," writes Joyner and "Miami should be able to make some noise in the NFL postseason."

So not only are we talking about the postseason, but making "noise" once they get there. Maybe, they're due -- 14 years since a playoff victory.

Dolfans are starving.
