ORLANDO (CBSMiami/AP) – Prosecutors have asked a judge to revoke bond for a man accused of shooting at George Zimmerman during a traffic encounter.

Matthew Apperson, in May, was charged with attempted second-degree murder. He was released on bond and under GPS monitoring while awaiting trial.

In June, Apperson was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly urinating on a neighbor's door.

Circuit Judge Debra Nelson is scheduled Friday to decide whether Apperson should go back to jail for allegedly violating the terms of his pretrial release in the Zimmerman case.

Zimmerman was not injured in the shooting. He was acquitted two years ago in the death of an unarmed, black 17-year-old, Trayvon Martin. That case sparked protests and a national debate about race relations.
