Slick Conditions Sends Truck Tumbling Over Deerfield Bridge

DEERFIELD BEACH (CBSMiami) – Broward Sheriff's Office deputies pulled a man out his pickup truck after he drove over a bridge in Deerfield Beach on Saturday.

BSO said the man lost control of his Nissan pickup at around 3:20 p.m. He tried to overcorrect due to rainy conditions, but went over the rail of the bridge at 1800 E. Hillsboro.

Deputies were able to pull the man from his vehicle within minutes of the accident occurring.

He was unharmed and no one else was hurt in the accident.

The bridge is open to vehicle traffic but is currently closed to marine traffic.
