Police: Wife Stabs Husband After He Punched Her

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A Miami woman is being questioned by police after, officers said, she stabbed her husband who officers said got physical with her.
Miami-Dade Police's Domestic violence section is investigating the incident.
It all happened in the are of NW 70th Avenue and NW 79th Street.
Officers said the couple was involved in a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation.
The husband allegedly ripped his wife's shirt and punched her. She then grabbed a knife and stabbed him multiple times, according to police.
Crews rushed the man to Ryder Trauma Center where he is listed in stable condition.
The wife was taken for questioning as police continue their investigation.
Charges are pending.
