Gang violence is a growing problem here in South Florida.
With at least 250 gangs in Miami-Dade County and a minimum of 2 thousand gang members, it is evident that this is a real threat to our safety and security.
The nonprofit "Gang Alternative" is dedicated to engaging our young people and their families in positive alternatives to youth violence and delinquency.
We take a closer look at how the organization works.
